Express engineering
Express Engineering, one of the fastest-growing CNC machining companies in the UK, has announced a joint partnership with Brazil-based Brastec.
It is hoped that the deal will allow the companies to take advantage of contracts in the oil and gas sectors around the globe, particularly those working in its extraction.
The deal already adds to a major change for Express Engineering, which has just completed the first phase of an expansion worth £3.2 million at its Tyneside headquarters, aimed at increasing capacity by up to 50 per cent as it looks for business in the aerospace, defence, oil and gas sectors.
Fabio Romano, the director of Brastec, explained that he looks forward to the organisations working together and beginning the knowledge transfer and training process in the coming weeks.
He continued: "We are delighted to be able to partner such a well known and experienced company as Express Engineering. This is a great opportunity to strengthen both firms' positions in the Brazilian oil and gas market, creating specialised jobs."
Express' precision engineering expertise spans 30 years and covers all CNC machining disciplines including those using turning centres, milling machines as well as wire and spark erosion.
